Born and raised in the sunny south my back yard was the inter coastal waterway, where I spent my days crabbing, exploring the itty bitty islands off the coast,Building forts and playing war, hanging with more guys than girls and horse back ridding on the beach.

I Graduated high school and toyed around at several collages but just didn't hang at any of them long. You could say I am truly a jack of all trades. My Professions show that I am analytical, design oriented, artistic and creative in my thought process. I am an animal lover. Did I mention good cook? Love travel and culture of all kinds.the mountains and life in general.

My latest obsession is the SCA, where in I am the landed baroness of Hidden Mountain. This latest obsession has spanned about 15 years so far. I pass my free time making calligraphed and Illuminated scrolls for award recipients, costuming, cooking and running events, making metal stuff, and getting ready for the next weekend event or war. I have learned so much from this amazing hobby, mostly of what makes you a better human being, more giving and kind
I don't ever want to stop experiencing new things and people, growing into that which I will be. My friend, Barbara, has this philosophy on life and I have to agree,so much so that, I have stolen it: Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"
